Willow Tree Golf was formally called Bear Creek Golf and Country Club.
The new ownership renamed the course to bring a fresh start, unique name within Ontario and to honor the natural surroundings.
So Why Willow Tree?
The Willow Tree finds its strength, stability, and structure from the trunk and it’s roots. The branches by extension are flexible and strong. The leaves represent balance, harmony, and growth. The tree itself, gives hope and a sense of belonging. If you have played the course, you know there are many willow trees that line the fairways, adding beauty to the game.
